The algorithm over on Threads is getting weird. My feed is dominated by these first-person slice-of-life stories, almost all women, things that happened: good/bad dates, weird work situations, brushes with danger. All quite, um, “engaging”.
Interspersed with people I follow posting the stuff they usually do.
It’s not *bad* as such. I usually end up reading one or two. I wonder if people sat in a room and picked this strategy, or it’s a consequence of engagement-seeking heurist…
